    Here's the inverter.

Says currently unavailable but that could change tomorrow. I'm sure you can find it somewhere. I looked it up. I paid $449 in 2018.

For cables I used these and they are holding up well.

The Inverter Store and Donrowe.com are good places to get quality inverters if you can't find what you need anywhere else. Amazon was the cheapest when I got mine.

The shorter the cables and lower awg the better. The truck I bought had cables running all the way from the batteries to the passenger side where the inverter was. I scrapped that and got 4ft 1/0 AWG directly up behind driver's seat. The longer the cables the more power lost.

But I like the pure sine wave just don't want to spend the money right now. Dirty electricity is working for everything I have now.

I have to agree. I got a pure sine because it was a good brand at a good price. I've had modified sine wave inverters before that worked fine.

I agree on the wire run. The shorter the better. That Aims inverter is huge and the only place I could fit it was under my bunk on the driver's side. Batteries are under my seat. I have about 6-8' cable run I guess.

With pure sine you can probably go longer without as much loss. I would imagine with pure sine the cables don't get as hot when running something like a microwave for extended time.

For the last 5/7 years have been running the Aims product. All purchased from the inverter store. Currently have 6 installed. Not one has had a problem. All are mounted behind driver seat, short runs of 1/0 stranded wire, solder lugs at both ends and a 300 amp fuse block on battery.

These run microwaves, refrigerators, tv and game systems, coffee maker and satellite systems.

I haven't gotten a pure sine yet, in 12yrs. I've run everything on modified from a coffee maker to television and laptop.

i have 4 battery’s in the rear for the EPU on my cascadia. That’s where my current 1500 is located and I plan on putting my Aims right there.

I've never had one either. But for a couple years I had a setup where the inverter had to be on at all times. I would get a 60 cycle hum out of my amplifier while driving. But I got an AV filter for that which seemed to do the trick. There are some refrigerators and computers that are sensitive to the sine wave. Or if you leave it on while driving regular inverters can cause that 60 cycle hum.

I have a modified sine wave 1500 watt in my cascadia and can run with or without truck on . I have a diesel apu with this setup , I would have the batteries tested as well as cleaning all connections. I run Microwave, fridge and tv as well .
