I just picked up a new used truck we bought in PA. I was on the way to Nashville with it and this happened in VA on I-81 at the 141 mm. There was another accident about the 139 and traffic was backed up. The truck on fire did not slow down and ran into another truck that was stopped. We sat there for over 2 hours, I don't think it turned out well for the driver that caused it.
This happened right in front of me last Friday

Wow man, glad you weren't involved! Vehicular fires never turn out good.

That was a USA truck that was on fire, and yes he died. I just saw the truck today and it was pretty ugly....what was left of it. I don't know what he was thinking, if anything. No way you hit another stopped truck and never even slow down if you're paying attention, could've been medical I guess. He had just left the roanoke terminal a few minutes before the wreck. After seeing the truck I thought if that had been me I would've hoped the impact killed me before the fire did. The message we got on it said he left behind a wife, 5 kids, and 7 grandkids. Sad situation.....

My heart goes out to his family and friends.
