This link contains their answer to your question. No money down, no credit check, $55.00/wk for 18 wks, then $75.00/wk until paid. If the payments lasted for a total of 52 wks, then you would repay a total of $3550.00. That would equal 18.53% interest over the course of the first year. They finance it at 18%, so they say, so for a three week school it could be worse. I've seen some as high as $8495!!

Tuition has gone thru the roof and schools are taking advantage of us,and the gov't...they know that states will pay for unemployed people to go to school and then jack up the costs...my school has gone up since i was there last jan...just crazy

I have been thinking about applying to CR. I got my cdl last year, and I have no driving experience. On their website they say you have to attend their school if it has been over 6 months. So, here is my question, silly as it sounds: when you go through their school, do you have to retake the state cdl exam if you already have a cdl, or do you just take the training, pay for it, and skip the testing? I will probably call a recruiter but just wanted to see if I could get an answer here quicker.
Thanks

No state testing, but you do have to take a company roadtest.road dust Thanks this. -
Thanks for your reply SLCTrucker. Are you happy driving for them?

My suggestion is to ask a recruiter. Having been out so long without driving, they have a refresher course, and they charge for that. I went to their school with no CDL, so I didn't deal with that, but I do remember others that were there that had to spend a few days with us, and CRE charged them for it.....road dust said: ↑I have been thinking about applying to CR.
