Bezos and Musk think big and tell their corporate officers to think big.
Lots of money invested in his fleet of cargo aircraft. He's going to have one-day service to anywhere in the world.

His money so he can do what he wants with it. Use $100 Bill's for TP if he wants.

But when you reach a certain point how do you not take care of those in your circle of influence.
Amazon pays as little as they can for the job that needs doing. Just like most companies. He could at this point make the lives of his workers better in many ways. But it's his choice.

'Mericans DO get something - somewhere to get their #### CHEAP, just like WalMart. After all, if we all bought our #### from Main Street America, we'd get less #### for our money, and God forbid, that money might stay right there in our little nowhere town for a little while.

    did you mean 2018? because...

'According to regulatory filings, Amazon will pay $162 million in federal income taxes for 2019 now, and an additional $900 million over time due to deferrals for which the company is eligible. That adds up to the $1 billion federal income tax expense Amazon says it's on the hook for in 2019.Jan 31, 2020"
    - Amazon reveals new details about its federal tax bill in shot across the bow at critics

Oh an maybe you should direct some of that anger towards Netflix...they also paid zero in taxes in 2018.
"Video streaming service Netflix likely paid no U.S. income tax in 2018 either, despite posting a record $845 million U.S. profit, according to ITEP's analysis. Its 10-K estimates its federal income tax liability at $-22.176 for 2018 — hence ITEP's conclusion that it won't pay the government any money for the year." - 60 of America's biggest companies paid no federal income tax in 2018

You can also be angry with Chevron, Delta Airlines and GM, Gannet, Goodyear, IBM, JetBlue, US Steel, Whirlpool, Halliburton along with all the other companies that didn't pay taxes in 2018. Don't like it blame the President and everyone else in DC . - https://finance.yahoo.com/news/companies-paying-zero-taxes-trump-law-155944124.html

60 Fortune 500 Companies Avoided All Federal Income Tax in 2018 Under New Tax Law

Before they started building fulfillment centers everywhere they were getting huge tax breaks from towns they had FCs in. You think they put a FC in Coffeyville, KS for the scenery? No. they did it cause they got HUGE tax breaks. If you want those tax breaks...make a ton of money an find someone to do your taxes that knows how to find all the loop holes and the like. Just like the rich do.

I'd be golden for years with 300k. I always joke with the wife about not needing to win the powerball jackpot. I"d be cool with a couple hundred grand. ;) I don't need a silver spoon, a plastic or regular ol steel spork will work for me. Ha!

Corporatism is bad for this country. As soon as some one says anything against it, you get labeled anti-capitalism. Which in their overly simplistic view of all things is basically anti-American.

Why have your wages gone down year after year? Corporatism.

Why is everything cheap and then needs replaced shortly? Corporatism

Why have your jobs disappeared? Corporatism

Why will your children never come close to the American dream? Corporatism

Why will this country fail to survive in the near future? Corporatism

Why do idiots keep voting for the same people that are slowly taking away their livelihood and prosperity while blaming it on the opposing party? Stupidity, brainwashed politically polarized stupidity.
