why do they call it a "disease" in so many articles? its a virus, we dont say people who get the flu have a disease. and if you get the flu you get sick, if you test positive for covid you may not even get sick, if you dont show any symptoms like many people dont then how is it an"illness" or a "disease"?

he broke the shutdown rules, and now he may have not only infected those he gave haircuts to, but to THEIR families as well.
maybe to set an example, the state ought to take away his license, and close him down permanently.
christ, my wife needs to see her hair dresser, my sons need haircuts (although they bought shavers, and thier wives cut thier hair and the grand children's hair), but there are literally MILLIONS of people that are small business owners, OBEYING the shut down rules, and this jerkwad defies that?
screw him.dancecanyon, Cat sdp and Chinatown Thank this. -
That barber will lose everything when the lawsuits begin.
Everyone that's been in that shop and now has COVID-19 will get a piece of the action.
Fair or not, that's the way the legal system works.buddyd157 Thanks this. -
A virus can be an illness or a disease according to my dictionary.

no matter what, who, when, or where, his customers will and SHOULD come forward.
so also, i have to "wonder" if he is young or old (like in semi-retirement, or fully retired) like a former barber of mine was, and just did not like staying home, and still wanted to work.
either way, he broke the shut down rules, and he should be put out of business forever.
to fail to do so, then the NEXT outbreak of this virus (this coming fall/winter), THEN NO MORE SHUTDOWNS of any business, or schools....!!!!!!!
since those "in charge" would make it seem like, "oh well, no big deal in breaking the shut down rules".
what's the sense then..???Numb Thanks this. -
The people who went to get their haircut knew they werent supposed to i think he shouldve been allowed to stay open because i wouldnt be dumb enough to go get touched by other people during this

here in my state for example, the Spanish community is about the largest community that has more infections over the others.
why? so many are afraid of being caught as illegals, so they are not seeking testing. further, when my goobener makes her daily press conferences, she has a deaf person signing for the deaf, but she does not have a spanish interpreter. the spanish local tv/radio stations carry MUSIC and NOT her daily news briefings...who's being irresponsible for that decision..???
yeah, everybody some how "knows" about this virus, yet so many others simply still go about thier lives each and every day. BUT, to REMAIN open as what is deemed a "non-essential service", flies into the faces of the pandemic precautionary rules about remaining open, rather than to be closed.
sure the customers are as responsible, BUT the BUSINESS OWNER lent into the rule breaking first and foremost.
