good link, I wished it showed voltage drop for cable length and gauge too, but definetly good info. Most people don't realize the fuse is matched to wire gauge not what the device draws

What’s everyone’s thoughts on Samlex America PST2000
-
Google it. Lots of charts that show voltage drop over length.

Samlex products are good. Are they any better than the AIMS product I have installed. I don’t believe so.86scotty Thanks this.

I've never heard anything bad (or good really) about Samlex. I would read their reviews on The Inverter Store and Donrowe.com if they sell that model, or maybe poke around on some off-grid living forums.
The only ones I can personally say I would stay away from are Tripp-lite. They are loud and I personally know of several problems with them. I'm also not a fan of the cheaper ones sold at truck stops but I did put one in a rig one time (yellow/black one from PIlot??) and it did just fine for the few months I drove that truck.
