I got an email I wasn’t considered for the job. I realized the higher FL paying jobs are from those that work out of the plant not warehouses. Job looked easy everything loaded into roll cages and you don’t go no more then 100 miles out for delivery to Walmart sams other grocery markets, gross pay a week they advertised was 1200 while those that work out of the plant can gross way more. I took the day cab job at the Anheuser Busch plant and gross around $1400 not having the big mile loads ”new driver” , all drop n hook , stop pay , Drop n Hook pay as well M-F and Saturday’s if you ask for it, haven’t worked a Saturday yet bc I’m not on the mandatory list yet to work at least 1 Saturday out of the month. Easy job while I wait for the ports to get better by next year as a O/O. I’m just glad to be home for now and not OTR especially with everything being closed out there I’d go insane especially with the gyms closed and Texas Roadhouse and Mexican restaurants.

Yes this is true at my plant also. None of the Vend customers are allowing us on the docks to unload so we have to have the lumper unload which is nice while it lasts.

Thank you! Yes it was really tough at first but it all seemed to come together and I have my little system down that works for me. I also talk to a lot of senior drivers to try and pick up little things here and there which are truly helpful to me.
Man I couldn't imagine how horrible Frito flavored peeps would be haha. I think the Easter Bunny is in a forced quarantine so we not get an answer to that question.

I keep hoping the mystery flavored ones will be like those every flavor jelly beans. ;) I'm evil like that though.

Continued good fortune for you on your adventure with Frito-Lay. I know a fellow who runs a route here for them with a Frito Ups style truck here on my sandbar. Good guy, I always tease him his money is safe, but I can't say the same about his cargo if I get hungry.

    Happy Easter to all.

Sounds like you did better at AB if they were only offering you 1200. I think all of us on here from Frito all work out of different plants but I wouldn’t get up and go to work for 1200. This job requires way more work than that.

Yea that’s true , all the good reviews with good money come from those that drive out of the Plant/DC. Warehouse CDL drivers won’t make what the DC drivers make. I applied out of the Suffolk, Va warehouse it still looks like they haven’t hired anyone for that role. I’d apply again if I were to be laid off at AB, but were super busy here just like the FL drivers.

they taste good, too. I'm eating a bag of the "original" corn chips right now. Came with my Jersey Mike's. :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:

Yes it has been crazy busy. I pulled into the plant with 17 minutes left on my 70 this morning. Woke up to a message that I am forced out on a core load tonight. Had to call them and let them know that can't happen haha. All good. But yes it has been crazy busy.
