Look at this ####in' ####. Twice I've been to this ####### terminal and twice I've been caught by a train while trying to leave it. #### CSX in the ### with a chainsaw.

 

Seems to be happening a lot there. I'm at the brewery and have to go there to fuel, maybe stay the night. Hopefully they are done for the day.

 

At least today it was at the Augspurger end so I just backed up, turned around in the yard, and went around the long way. Hard to do that at.the other end, although I was tempted to try yesterday morning.

 

This load I'm on now is interesting. Picked up some sort of insulation in Shelbyville, IN and it's going to....a pig farm.... In eastern NC. I'm guessing they must be building some new pig houses or something.

 

The Assburger and Jackson Rd is the way I take every time. To hell wit irking right out of the terminal.

 

2nd time I’ve been in the Heartland terminal in ATL. Gotta say I’m impressed. A few weeks ago I was shuttling trailers around ATL from here and on the way out, guard asked if I wanted a box lunch. Heck yeah I said. Ham and cheese Sammy with tater chips, a couple chocolate chip cookies and lemonade. Kinda made my day.
Loaded at Gilmer I’m Perry Ga this afternoon for La Crosse. Bumping my hours bad so I whipped in here to find plant of parking and no pee pee smell. Nice place to walk around and some much needed exercise.

 

I was there for the first time Thursday. First Heartland terminal anywhere. I was very impressed too.

 

I stayed at a Heartland terminal for the first time this week and was really impressed too. I was out way later than usual after a lengthy unloading at a customer and was delighted to find a clean paved lot with plenty of parking available for me once I found the entrance. The gate even opened without having to get out to use the keypad. It was quiet too, no gunshots in the background and no dust storms whenever someone drove by.

 

I need to get my Rfid thing checked out for heartland. Have had to use gatecodes to get in and couldn't get a wash last time I was in Pontoon Beach.

 

Mine didn’t work at Pontoon Beach either.
