Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

I ordered one that has washable filters. Just haven’t gotten it yet. I do have a homemade one. I used a bandanna and cut a HEPA filter from my vacuum to fit inside it. Necessity is the mother of invention, or so they say. Most of the time, I don’t wear one. But if I go somewhere it is required, I have it.

 

Looks like Safety is on Lock Down as well.
Both upstairs and downstairs doors.

but the DMs seem to be able to find their way out for their 20 minute Smoke Breaks every 90 minutes...

thankfully the CV hasn’t disrupted that... lol

 

And a new shop manager here too... wow, I’ve missed a lot... lol ... guy comes in as the Volvo mechanic and six months later is the shop manager.

 

I have no clue what’s going on... the younger skinny mechanic that originally told me about the “software issue” causing my lack of heat issue ... (the guy that helped you with the trailer today) ... I was telling him what issues I needed looked at... basically the “software issue”, if there was a fix... and a few other little things...

I was hoping to get my truck looked at over a 34 and roll out... but that still took two days... not rolling out until the morning now.

Anyway, I asked if he would be working on my truck again... he said probably not now that he was the shop manager... I congratulated him... but ya, no clue how many deck chairs have been rearranged here.

 

Well crud... I finally get my truck back and now I can only get audio out the the speakers in the UPPER bunk... front speakers, dead... rear lower bunk speakers, dead too... any ideas? I’ve pressed every button and option that I can find on the radio... Powered down the radio and back on... turned off the truck... even got out and turned the batteries off and back on hoping to trigger some reset... nothing...

 

He’s been gone. Don’t know why. Just poof. You know, like all the good folks.

 

You’re lucky it’s just your speakers. Mine came out of the shop with a massive coolant leak. Mind you, I have had zero issues in that department - EVER - with this truck. AND (wait for it) the original problem is still happening. Imagine that!
