You may have missed it, Running a yard Goat on the overnight shift now.

Start time is about 1900, finish when the job is done. Then flee for home in the car and try to get there before the sun finishes coming up.

I plan on that sir... but not yet... I need this time for myself... and will have to go to Brasil to deal with the real estate before I commit to another company... cause when I start trucking again... I don't want to stop for any trip overseas.... Situation is still bad in Brasil and it may stay bad for some more months... In the meantime I have plenty to do here and thank God and my hard work for decades, I don't need to work to support myself for now... Don't know what the future holds though... but that I leave up to God... I feel like I am doing what I am supposed to do right now and not worrying about the future.. this for a change... :biggrin_25519:
I don't want to even think if I will be able to find a company that will take me when I am ready to go back... I am not that young any more... age matters... and the body feels a difference too... not going to "kill" myself the way I used to do any more... time will tell...

Yes sir... I may have missed that... not keeping up with this thread as it progresses very quickly and I have been busy... but I like to know what you guys have been doing and post some of my "stories" here...
Spent some hrs in my storage again today... still have a lot to go thru in that place.... sorting stuff to donate, stuff to throw away, stuff to try to sell at Market Place.. if I can...

Yeah. I thought maybe after two forced regens the oil was so hot the pressure would rise after I put it on the road. It didn't, and is ticking like it lost a valve now. I'm no mechanic, but I think they are looking in the wrong place. They only go by the computer. Overhead was run at 100,000. Oil pressure makes me think this plastic junk kicked the bucket on me. I love the truck and Apu. I can live without the new series Detroit motor.

How can I test these power inverters to know if they are still working fine or not? I remember I was having problem with one of them years ago... but don't remember which one and don't know if there was a problem with the truck battery or the installation or something else. I don't want to hook them to my car battery to test... is there another way I can find out?

The last one I got in the truck was the 2000 watts... never had a problem with that.... but mechanic knew how to install it and put a circuit breaker box...

You pretty much are going to have to connect to a 12 volt power source. The one that didn't work would it turn on at all? Or did it trip under load?

Low and slow on the brisket. Can you mop it down easy while in the smoker?

Really you would be better off just getting a new one.
I understand you have these, newer ones are more efficient, provide a cleaner power and have better safety.
Getting them properly installed is the key to longevity for both the batteries and the inverter.
