What if it Snows?

It's ok Mr. @WesternPlains ... we can see... I mean... I can.... that's INSANE!

 

I used to ALWAYS look at Google satellite before going to places.... to get an idea of everything... the streets, the surroundings, the right entrance, the best way to approach, how much room, etc, etc, etc.. that has HELPED me tremendously many many many times.... while other drivers would be driving around the block or going to the wrong place because sometimes the load info and or brokers don't give detailed info about locations, gates, etc, etc, etc..

 

That said.... I remember my first "instructor" with my first company, he used to find places with his decades of experience instinct.... he would get as close as he could and then use common sense... sometimes even ask businesses in the area until he would find the right place.... he also used to get his orientation with a compass and the shadows and things like that.. THAT is a true professional truck driver that we don't see much any more...

Rocks; when you get all your important, valuable and keepsake stuff out, just leave the lock dangling unsnapped over a week end. It will be empty on Monday following. LOL

 

Do u like to do the 8/2 split ? Ive done it maybe 3 or 4 times. It is confusing to me. I dont really understand how to calculate how many hours im getting back

 

I should start using Google Satellite.

 

It all depends on my situation... This morning I stoped for an hour nap.... Slept through alarm and woke up 6 hours later. So I'll do a split to get moving again.

 

Me and big blue has successfully made it thru indiana with all of our body panels and suspension components in 1 piece. Id say that is a win !
