So far from what I’ve seen it looks like these “protesters” are about looting and destruction of private/public properties. I own my truck and trailer, so I just decided to park it and collect the unemployment. Why risk my health, properties if the government can’t provide safety?

 

You guys that are talking about just pulling the pin and dropping your trailers....What happens if the trailer pin catches on the rear cross member or just falls down on the drive tires or frame rails and anchors you in place?
Better be ready to run.

i know, i have seen many drivers just foolishly drive away, even see a few day cabs get smashed rear windows..i ain't been in this industry for 48 years and seen nothing happen.

 

You company guys are probably going to get some sort of message from your company, telling you company policy. It will start off with some usual sunshine injection in Uranus...

"At Moron Trucking, we have the utmost respect for our drivers and we greatly appreciate them, especially during these troublesome times. Without the commitment from our drivers, none of us would be here...

...followed by a carefully worded instructions that basically tell you that they are more concerned with company lawsuits than your life...

"While we are concerned with our drivers, we cannot have drivers running over citizens. So, if you find yourself in the middle of a riot, park the truck, put your head down and do not make eye contact with anyone standing outside of your truck. Studies have shown that rioters will usually not bother people who do not make eye contact with them."
