Let me guess. You got a masters in philosophy and couldn’t find a job, so you became a trucker? Hey, I have an engineering degree and couldn’t find a trucking job. :p

Respect to you, my well read friend.

I’m not as philosophical about it as you, but I know when to keep my mouth shut.

I knew the cops hated my Chevy. Those crown vic people are all haters.

I like the fact that you won't let the real world interfere with cherry-picked biased studies. Oh my, are you saying a good liberal NY woman used race against a black man. Well then, this must be what happens daily and of course ONLY to black pepole. Good for you. Discount peoples experiences if they don't fit your views, only read things that agree with you.

It's not that you don't know alot.
It's that you know alot that's not true.

So let's talk about something else here.....how does society stop the hate and racism? How does society stop power hungry police from committing incidents like that of George Floyd? Let's hear something different. There has to be ways to eliminate preconceived notions because that's the root of racism.

Except everything is not about race.
When it is stand up against it.

    Except personal responsibility.
    No one owes you anything.

Except there are people who will hate you because of XYZ.
    Be better than them.

Now you're speaking out of your ###.

I have been profiled for being white. When a cop stops you because you're white, what would you call it, oh great knower of everything and disseminator of all that is true?

Also been the victim of racism. But I don't go around #####ing about it like a little girl.

So let's follow your stupid logic, and apply it somewhere else. From here on out, every time one trucker gets a ticket, all truckers get a ticket. Every time one trucker gets put oos, every trucker gets put oos. After all, we should of said something, right?

And the owners of these companies, should also get a ticket every time one of their employees does. After all, who is really responsible for putting them on the road?

If we don't all start running around telling on everyone else, for everything they do, then we're all just as guilty.

A good first step, would be for some people to stop thinking every bad thing that happens to them is because of race.

No went to college to become a lawyer and found out what being a lawyer was really like, so I changed course into education. Found out I could make a living coaching and was moving up in the world with a full time college job. Then I discovered I REALLY didn't like persuading kids to shell out $25,000 a year they didn't have for an education that was worth MAYBE $15,000 when the kid wasn't intellectually or emotionally ready for college. Climbed into the truck to give myself some time to figure out what I wanted to do, ended up really liking it. How many other jobs are there where you can make $80,000 a year and don't have to go to meetings?

I read a lot of things I don't agree with.

When the studies match up with my real world experiences and there is NO empirical data that supports other conclusions, what am I to think?

You could change the car you drove and avoid harrasment. They can't change their skin color.
