that's just great news! Now when I think about it, it wouldn't make sense to be any other way, but I just gotta ask;)

yup thats it, and you shouldnt get worn out, especially if you are going over the road.......alot of highway time, sure u will hit traffic sometime

when i was still new to driving i use to go out in the yard and drive a tractor aroudn and just practice shifting........upshifting downshifting doing it was more then necessary just to get the feel for it

trust me if u put a little time into it you will get it, its really not that bad at all and has already started to become second nature to me

also thought i should tell you especially if you are going over the road, alot of companies use 13 speeds......i dont know that gear pattern cuz i drive for an LTL company in the city

I will learn all I can in school and from people like you, but I don't know what job I might get. They ask you to pick what you want to do but who knows if you get it. I will be glad with anything at all. I do hope it will be a big enough truck that I don't lose what I learn in school and here.

    Thanks Freebird;)

Someone draw up an 18 for her! Oughta make her set up!
JB years ago ordered a bunch of their trucks with straight 9 speed transmissions! No hi/lo selector switch at all! Start in 1st and go all the way to 9th! What a laugh it was to watch a newbie on a hill miss one on the way down and try to find a gear close to where he need to be!
