Monday drove 575 miles from Vegas to Sacramento.

Spent the night behind some old building in North Sac, hoping not to get our throats slit, near receiver.

Tuesday did Sac, then Santa Rosa, then TWO stops in Sunnyvale....... I mean this is a serious miracle of modern truck driving.

No coffee, no lunch. Shag ### up to Corning so as to make Wilsonville early enough to get unloaded, then D&H.

    Enter the stooge.

The OM is still face pawing.

It's California...you fart to loud they ban it, and/or tax it, then call for backup. Noise violation which upsets the wild herd of vegans and all weather snow-flakes that reside there. Exceptions are made. If you eat meat and/or able to use commonsense, your excluded from the above comment. ;)

Sirscrapntruckalot - I get freaked out whenever I meet a vegan in or from Texas. Just weird.

The "Lunch Box"s work pretty good. Get hot enough to practically cook something. Haven't used mine a whole lot. But have. Might use it more in this job in future?

I never had much luck with the heated 12v type mug or pot.

I do admit. On the 12v stuff I've tried. It's usually the cigarette lighter plug that is a problem. Cheap assembly. Got a couple things I need to put a plug on myself. Then might be ok?

My Coolatron has been fine. I don't know how hot it would get on hot setting? Never tried it. Always use it on cool.

On the subject of cooking in the truck...would one of those instant pot..cooking appliance folks, not the wacky tobaccy...this thing..

My buddy got one for his wife. She loves it, but they are stationary "normal" people. Not folks who drive a rig. Probably already something similar out there for the trucking lifestyle, if so...ignore or share, your choice.

Stay safe, eat good, avoid the roller dogs, and riots.

Yeah the average person whom has taken door panels off shouldnt have a problem. You may need a flat bar to remove some of the snap in plugs. Probably 5 mins to take the panel off (delicately). 5 mins more to find the spring. 20-30 mins to tell the parts man why the spring you have doesnt look anything like the brake spring he keeps offering. 2 mins to put it all back together. Best to do it on your 34. It will give ya something to do, as opposed to just sleeping.

I will gladly trade our 68F for your 83F
