You're right and thanks for the support. I just figured that new drivers looking for work would try everything they could for the best. But I guess the advertisements from the bottom feeders are strong and when they say you can make $40K to $50K the first year they go for it. The CDL schools and the recruiters have done a good job hidding the true reasons they are there. Some think that the schools are going to set them up and all is well, I guess they are the same group of people that never lose when they gamble.

 

100% correct, the only thing that matters to the insurance companies is whats on your DMV report today. Sadly it's just the nature of the beast.

 

Yeah. Oilfield companies in North Dakota. Move to Belfield today and you'll have a job tomorrow hauling water. They'll take anyone with a CDL; hell, they'll take anyone, period, and train them to get a CDL, so I've heard. They're looking for drivers out here. Bring a big coat.

 

My TN MVR is clean. I have 2 speeding tickets in 3 years. One drops off the day I graduate. I will have to wait 'til January most likely. USA Truck said they would hire me with 2. Both are for 10 over the limit.

I am going to wrok my butt off in school and try to get hired on with a OTR company. Western Ex, KLLM, etc.
