$250.00, straight pull, dry and on pavement, and his yard just a block away?Seems in line. I used to get $20.00 (in the 50's)for taking the Farmall up to a nearby lovers lane for ditch removal. Did not undo the chain till paid after my first drive off. 1 and 2 o'clock in AM, Dad said if you want to do it, go. I went.

201 is the same as 2100 South. Lights and intersections all the way past the Kennecott facilities, plus speed limit of 45 then 55 until after the Kennecott mess.
Use I-80, freeway of course and hammer down once you get to the Salt Palace.

Well somethings are different at Landstar.

Dave is giving me some latitude on booking shuttle loads and honestly I need to learn to calm the #### down. Regardless I pulled the trigger. 2100# for a decent rate, and then I planned on grabbing another to make it back towards the good load The OM booked.

They said it would be ready at 2000. The shipper was only off by 10 hours and 15 minutes. Enter the hope for detention. So basically I got paid what a western express newbie solo driver gets his first or second week, but I did it asleep and that was only the detention. LOL. Still it cost me another shuttle load so I still lose, but the sting isn’t as bad with detention.
