It seems like those signatures needed an inframe before 600k, while the lower hp ones were making it all the way to 1.5 mil with only main bearings done

    TheLoadOut and Brettj3876 Thank this.

Rebuild what you've got with either cummins or aftermarket parts for the HP you want. Compound turbo it. Tune it ... live life happy. If you are dead set on a transplant ... put an e model in it ... properly built and tuned yellow motors make life much happier ;)

Heard that too. Lugging it too much?

If Rawze is still active on the interweb he's well respected on the ISX and could give you a good idea.

I a 2002 Pete with a Sig 600 in it. Closing in on a million miles and have had nothing but good luck with the engine. Just minor work on it like you would expect with water pump and such going out on it.

    TheLoadOut and Vampire Thank this.

Mine's an 09, unfortunately can't put a 99 in there as much as I'd love too.

Same truck I have. The previous owner replaced the original at 900K and I bought the truck 50K later. We're up to 1.35million now with no issues at all.

I believe you can. It would be labor intensive, as you would need to change all the brackets ect...

Im curious did You Ever Switch to the Signature Series 600 ?? A friend of mine had 2 Signature 600s . First one was when they Very first released the Signature Series. 2 months later he was down for a .month and half . 3 months after that he was down for a Month-. Camshaft Broke first o
Time which broke some other stuff In the Process- 2nd Time it blew Up - Cummins wanted to Delay paying for the Warranty - the 2nd Signature 600 - went down 3 months after Taking Delivery- Was down almost 3 months due to Cummins wanting to Slacking Around- eventually they fixed it tho - in my opinion- i woulda putta N14' Celect➕️ In if Not sticking with isx that's in it --

there’s the whole emissions and title thing, (if it’s not a true glider) it’s illegal to go backward In emission years, but if you turn it into a salvage title truck you can “reconstruct it”, I forget the law, too much work honestly, but a N14 would absolutely be the way to go over a sig 600

honestly those early DOHC motors seem to love them or hate them, they are either turds or 2 million mile engines, no in between
