Ac/heater temp no power

    Hey guys wondering if someone could help me I got a 2019 t880 Kenworth was hooking up a new USB port to charge phone and all the sudden my AC went out no lights nothing so I shorted somethingout the diagram like I can't find the fuse or relay on that would anybody happen to know where it would be thank you

    May be a fuse, or whats called a fuseable link down in around battery box? Not sure though. Other than that may have to search it out. Unless you have a go to person that works on that model or similar .

    I would check the fuse Box. I don't know where it's located on that truck I'm sure some other people here may be able to help you locat it

    So... what? You plugged a 12V USB charger into the 12V socket and your AC went out at the same time?
    Doubtful the two things are related if that is the case.
    A bad charger would only blow the fuse to the 12V socket.
    You didn't mention if the 12V socket or USB device was still working. ?

    Was you stripping wires ...or just intermittently connecting juice . Maybe fuse under hood. D/S 3rd from the right on Volvo.

    Not sure on Kenworth fuse.

    I think the fuse panel on Kenworths are in the glove box. you have to remove the liner and the fuse box is on the firewall.

    I am assuming the op actually was wiring up the port, not plugging it in.

    So if this is the case, it may be the body computer and not a fuse.
