    Constructive criticism time:

While you are waiting for repairs, recover.

Recovery=A return to readiness. This happens when you are sleep. I'm not saying hop in the sleeper and go to sleep. You are waiting for repairs. There's no need for you to be awake. Catch those Z's whenever you can.

"But Six, my trainer would have..."

Your relationship is abusive. Do you know why he's doing this to you? Because you allowed it. I'm not talking about knocking his head off. The yelling and screaming and the hurtful words, you stop that as soon as it starts. Got it? If he threatens you, you record it. You're being nice***. Quit being nice.

Do you know the difference between being nice and being kind?

He was gonna drop me off and apparently they were going to let me go home unemployed, but instead they’re gonna give me a little more time

A little more time for what? Grow a set and stand up for yourself. Do not go out with the same guy. If you don't get it, you will. Good luck.

Sounds like I’d just be fired like at the last two companies; I always hear “just switch trainers” but I find the company doesn’t gaf about you and if you’re not making them money then they just can you

@TripleSix can correct me if I'm interpreting him incorrectly. I'm taking his advice to you as something of a general gift. A package that can be taken to any profession or endeavor, if you will.

In regard to your current experience with WE, and specifically this trainer, I'm going to ask you to dig deep and look inside yourself. At the end of each day, did you complete your own self-assessment for you and you alone? I've read a lot of excuse making and the fact of the matter is that there are always two sides to a story and I haven't heard of you taking a whole lot of responsibility for any of the things that have gone wrong.

Did you really engage with your trainer, professionally and personally? You certainly did with the folks on this Forum, but we're not the ones that have to sign-off on your training period. This isn't your first driving position. What did you learn from your past experiences that enabled you to be a better driver this go-round? Or, was that all a waste of everyone's time? And if you get fired let go by WE, what will that tell you?

The guy wants me to work on load securement and hopefully once I show him I can do that completely on my own he’ll pass me; this is the main reason why he didn’t pass me, but he hasn’t given me the chance to do it completely by myself even though at this point I have a good idea of what I’m doing; we’re gonna get a load going to New York I think and I’ll finally get my chance

You’re right in some respect to this last load, I should’ve done a better job on my end securing it instead of going along with what he said, especially when it was my turn the drive later on and my responsibility; as far as making excuses that’s not me, if anyone asked I’d give it to them straight with no bs; i learned a great deal from the last two companies on my own, used to have trouble simply driving, turning, driving my whole 11 hours, etc, but now I can do all those things no problem

I changed two straps that were tearing and the second time put two rags (all I could find while pulled up at the fuel island) to create a buffer zone between the strap and the metal

Also I’ve been nothing but nice to the guy, maybe a little too nice, always needed to work on that
