If it is still registered to you. Just go pick it up.

Also, if he damaged / changed the truck in any way you simply fix it and sue him to get the money back.
It's unlikely to do anything, but it's also the risk one takes to not have to pay a dealership to sell the truck.Tb0n3, not4hire, Sirscrapntruckalot and 1 other person Thank this. -

You could do what Zvar and others suggested or you know...you could just leave it with him, because your concerned he "Might" have done something to it.
Do you wear a mask in the shower to? Or when alone driving?
You *might* catch the corona if not.
Sirscrapntruckalot - Pick up the truck. Drive away. The end.not4hire Thanks this. -
I'm not even sure why this is a question, but... go pick up your truck. Unannounced. If anything is wrong, sue.
Oh, and keep the deposit.
After having run many businesses over the years my mantra has become, "you don't have the money until it has cleared two banks."Tb0n3, ZVar, Phantom Trucker and 4 others Thank this. -
Really shady. I would secure that truck right now don’t sleep on it. And fine comb that truck for anything. Might have used you to transport a stolen trailer or a drug run.
Tb0n3 Thanks this. -
Why are you guys pushing me to pick up the truck?
I have asked him to provide me in writing that the truck is the way it was dropped and it was not driven or touched. He is not willing too -
Because it's your property. Unless you're now gifting it to him.
