What's the punishment for deleting DEF?

    I live in CO, what would happen if I delete my DEF and somehow I got caught?

    They will make you work long hours, weekends and holidays as a truck driver for little pay.... lmao

    Bigger than I'd want find out the hard way, there seems to be issues if it's not done just so, causing serious engine issues.

    It is easier to beg forgiveness than seek permission. Being done around here frequently, I am told.

    I simply keep an older truck, never bought any DEF in my life.

    From where I’m from there are 90% delete trucks and 10% not. Guess which ones are more in the shop.....yep, the 10% . Cold weather hates DEF and emissions so most people do it to save them time in the shop.

    Since being in North Dakota I’ve noticed a handful of guys are deleted as well.

    I believe it's a $10,000 ticket and OOS until it's fixed back to factory. They have both sniffers and ecm plugins that can check.
