California compliance with old truck

    m16ty exactly. basically, the only way an out of state truck is coming in with out a 2010 engine, is on a limited use exemption which has to be applied for. under 1000 miles a year.

    You said fl60, not fl120 - fl60 is a class 7 and you are right fl120 is a class 8 but it doesn't matter.

    And she is wrong, not every vehicle needs to have a 2010 engine, I know a bunch of bus conversions rvs running around California with DD 2cycle engines. It only applies to commercial vehicles.
