It seems like the more regulations the less common sense. Many good drivers quit over the C D L. Others over the E Lo g. Maybe the self driving trucks will be an improvement

I find you get back what you put out. Most of the drivers I see now days in a truck do not deserve any respect, tailgating, speeding, cutting in and out of the lanes trying to get ahead. I find most (not all) car drivers give me back what I dish out, I don't seem to have any problems changing lanes even in heavy traffic, not do I have a problem with them cutting me off to get on and off freeways. A lot of it is your mindset. A lot of it is taken care of because as a professional drivers you should be looking far ahead to and anticipating then taking action to alleviate the issue before its a problem.

Little things like following distance (I hear drivers telling me in traffic they can't, Bu^*&^^ because I do.). Getting in the proper lane aleast a mile before you need it, adjusting your speed for whats happening 1/2 to 3/4 mile ahead. Drivers that drive looking at the tailights directly in front of them are not drivers at all.

Are you retarded? Did you even read my post? If it wasnt for the factories and the shippers and receivers what would you be hauling? You are a prime example of why people think truck drivers are stupid.

Not to argue but tons of raw materials get hauled into factories by truck to be made into something and then shipped back out by truck. Trucks even bring the materials to build the factories in the first place. So.... It’s the old chicken and egg debate.

If there were no factories you wouldn't be hauling any raw materials. It's a team effort. No one is more important than any one else.

Iron ore is one example of something that goes to factory by truck before it can be processed into something we can use and touch.
Cement making aggregates and logs are others.
They are all products needed to build factories.
Fruits, veggie, and other ground born food products are taken to factories to be processed into things and they do not originate there.
    Meat and poultry too.
No argument. It is a team effort. But like I said it’s like the chicken and the egg debate. Which came first. Did the egg (factory) just appear out of nowhere? Or did the chicken ( truck) come first to lay ( build) the egg. Or vice versa? There is no answer either way. Lol

It's too bad the majority of these factories are in Mexico and China.
