So I got that big roll to Alabama Friday afternoon with the plan on unloading it Monday. Well they wanted to unload it then which was fine. Except stacking the trailer meant paying someone overtime to operate the crane. I felt bad and was hurrying to get them out of there sooner. Got this in between the crane and booster. It didn't end well.
This is G rated version.
Rushing around never ends well

Yeah, I mashed a fingertip last summer and lost a fingernail. Gosh dang that hurts.
Haven't done anything that dumb in 10 years. I suppose you need some minor flubs every now and then to keep you on your toes and prevent something much worse.PoleCrusher, D.Tibbitt, tommymonza and 1 other person Thank this. -
Ouch!
I almost got my hand stuck between a hook and a bulkhead once. The crane operator moved a little bit more than I wanted him to...I managed to yank my hand out quick enough...but my glove stayed there...PoleCrusher, D.Tibbitt and tommymonza Thank this. -
I got smacked upside the head with a covered wagon side pocket stake once. Forklift guy was in a hurry moving fence panels and not listening. When the panels popped clear of the stake it bounced back an man did that cause a headache!

I’m not one for Dilly Dallying around and move orderly and quickly most of the time.
But when stuff gets rushed stuff gets overlooked and stuff happens.
I set my foot down with work within weeks that their lack of planning does not mean I must run around like a Chicken with its head cutoff.
I had only been driving for a few weeks and was comfortable with it , but my past experiences 30 years prior farming taught me that heavy machinery is nothing to rush around.PoleCrusher, magoo68, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -
