Mother gives up racist views, pleads for return of children

Legally, you can not take a child away from parents because YOU think what they're teaching is wrong. Please understand I do not support racism in any form BUT it is not a legal reason to remove children. If we could decide to take a child due to what we think is harm from racism being taught........then what stops the court from taking a child due to religion? I believe you argued on another thread that to remove a child from atheist parents is wrong? So did I.

The fact is.........a parent will teach a child their values, morals and ethics and we as society has to hold our breath and hope for the best. Please keep in mind that in today's world a child is impacted by FAR more than parents. That impact from society is both good and bad.

Can society impact stronger than the racist parent? yes I know for a fact we can and I'd give you an example but people get all hateful when I "sermonize".

 

I think that anyone who believes that children should/can be taken away from their parents due to political beliefs are not true Americans. Do not belong in our beloved country, and should hang by the neck until no more air escapes their lungs...

 

I guess as soon as you take the kids away from their crack dealing and smoking parents... I guess we better take these poor kids out of the hood, and bus them to nicer neighborhoods....
This is STILL America, where you supposedly have the right to think as you want, or used to. I think everyone convicted of burglary, robbery, rape, murder, car-jacking, or any other violent crime should heve their balls chopped off. Oh wait, after 50 years, there wouldn't be any colored folks. How is hating someone based on hair color different than skin color? It is ok to hate the weird white kids, but we should turn a blind eye to the monstorous crimes that little gangster youths commit?

 

Listen here, little princess: who cares if it is freedom of religion. We have this thing in America called the Constitution, and the First Amendment guarantees the right to free speech. Did they teach you that in school? People like you make me wonder if we need two Americas.

 

And what makes you think that the hate you're currently spewing is any more "American" than the thoughts of truckermario and GAPrincess?

While I agree with you that the children should not be removed due to political beliefs and even racist beliefs.......I do NOT agree with the message that you're proclaiming that anyone who differs from your opinion isn't American.

 

I pledge to be myself.

I am sure I have some major sins and perceived immoralities. And probably have potential to realize many more.
But I hope that people understand that I do have some good within me and
I do have a heart.​

I'm fine with the 2nd Amendment. It's the people who 'need' to own an AK-47 to hunt deer that scare me.​

You are not an American. You do not belong here. The Second Amendment does not say anything about "needing" a certain firearm. Neither does it say anything about deer hunting. Please move to Cuba, Castro will welcome you with open arms. Just get out of America the Great. People like you are ruining this beloved Country. You are the lowest form of life on Earth. I am a parent of 2. Read this story and tell me if it doesn't get you worked up.

 

The idea that in 50 years of executing criminals there would be no "colored folk" is a racist belief that all blacks are criminals. There happen to be MANY wonderful people of all color of skin. There also happen to be terrible people of all color of skin.

The idea that if someone disagrees with you then they are not American and should be killed is both hateful and absolutely against the ideology that America is founded upon.

 

I was just trying to make a point on how one sided the argument was. I am not saying that is what I believe, that is just a response to some idiot saying that anyone who is racist should be castrated.

And yes, if someone tried to take my kids from me and my family, they would most likely be sent to a very special place.
