What’s your wheelbase ? What kind of mileage you getting empty and loaded ?
I know it’s kinda hard consistently judging hauling flatbed loads.
Truck looks rather aerodynamic though with no big air cleaners or side mount exhaust .
That’s a really good looking truck for a Aero/type truck.
Show off your trucks!

On the fence yet. Not costing me anything to let it sit. And it’s not going to Hell in a pole barn .
If you want a truck shop the Internationals. Their a well built trucks with out the w900/379 price tag.
I was shopping for a Freightliner classic with a 84 inch bunk and a Detroit when I happened across this truck .
Driving up 31 shooting for a shower at the pilot for my mandatory 30 minute break.
Passed this truck sitting on the side of the road looking like all the others I had looked at on the side of the toad the past Year
Not a Classic and I had never even looked at or considered a International.
5 miles down the road i hit a little toad construction and decided I wasn’t going to make it up to my shower.
Turned around and Went back and opened up the door after doing a walk around , didn’t smell like a dead trucker inside , interesting.
Crawled up inside and though dated truck was as new. I think it even had the original bunk mattress in it that was still halfway clean.
Original Eagle Seats. Full gauge package.
Skipped out of there after my 30 minute break and headed back to the yard in Michigan.
As Luck would have it work sent me right back down to Murfreesboro where I just came from.
Turned and burned and on the way down 31 the next day passed the truck again
Left Murfreesboro in the morning and did my 30 minute break at the truck. 30 minutes turned into my crawling around under and over it for 2Hours with a good flashlight.
Called the owner After looking at it and beat him down on the price of 17500 to 15000
He agreed and I left a check for $500 under the visor for him.
4 days later I was passing by that way and we took it for a test ride than I gave him another $4500.
Week later I wired him $10.000 and asked if he could store it for a month because I was super busy at work
No problem.
6 weeks later I picked it up.

Man, that's a good story. So many aren't. There are a lot of gems out there for patient folks.
I've had about 150 cars, though I'm not a car dealer. Just a hobby to me. Anyway, some friends and me started 'shopping sellers' a few years ago as we call it. That's what you did. He had the iron you wanted of course but the deal was likely sealed after you got to know him and how he handles business. That tells you a lot about whatever you are buying.

My current everyday rig 1997 Peterbilt 379 550 E model 18 speed. Then my first truck I had on the road as a leased owner operator 1989 50th anniversary Peterbilt. Nicest driving and best condition truck I ever owned, I thought I needed a unibilt and E model cat tho ♂️. Then my 1989 Marmon 57P only ran it for about 3 months not even. And then my first truck, my dream truck the 1 I let get away I never had it on the road though, 1985 western star 275” factory WB 400 B model with Brake saver, 5 speed main 4 speed Auxillary. Truck was bad to the bone. I was broke and stupid when I started out though. (Not much has changed!)The 50th was a smoking deal and didn’t need all that much. So I had both for a while and opted to sell the western star to do repairs needed to the 50th. Wish I kept them all cause I don’t know where any of the money is I got from selling them lol.
