This is what I know. The company used it to haul boats from main to fl. And lower .ca. After I check it out. He will get a hold of the maintance department. To get the work done on it by them. There company is the second owner of the. Truck. They are down sizing. Price is subject to taking offers. Other than the salt affect on this truck. What do I need to look at and inspect. He is going to let me take it for a test ride and oil sample before I make a offer. Where does one send a oil. Sample to be tested?
Going to look at this truck next week

Some of the Speedcos used to have instant result machines. Last time I sent an oil sample in, took 7 weeks for results.

Boats are lightweight loads in general; that's a positive.
I've hauled boats 48 states & Canada.

Hauling between Maine & Florida he may have been hauling yachts since the truck is a twin screw axle. Even then, those boats are streamlined aerodynamically and wouldn't have much wind resistance to add much strain to the truck.Last edited: Jul 7, 2020

Call them up and let them know you need the sample rushed as you are considering purchasing a truck based on the results you get from the oil sample.
Shouldn't be an issue.Speed_Drums and feldsforever Thank this. -
