Personally. If someone is banging on your door in the middle of the night. I think you should open up the door....
...and let them out. I mean that lot lizard needs to service other rigs, too. lol

There was this theft ring going on at the TA in Baytown. A guy was going around the lot in a pickup truck looking for stepdecks with aluminum ramps. Thief would knock on the truck, no answer, he would steal the aluminum ramps. Broad daylight.
The worst part about it all? There would be drivers sitting in the truck right next to it, know who drives the truck, and would be jumping up and down with anticipation of having bad news to tell.LoSt_AgAiN Thanks this. -
I keep a pack of firecrackers n lighter by the sleeper window. Knock on the door? Out the window they go.
Bonus...
They wont come back EVER and the cops will usually show up -

Sometimes you have to check out who is knocking on your door in the middle of the night without ignoring them, like the Police.
The first night on Amazon account in N. Randall (Cleveland) OH, I dropped off an empty in the yard and saw a dozen of bobtails parked in a parking lot next to the Amazon building outside the yard. I thought that's where the bobtails park, my appointment time was in about 4-5 hours and Amazon allows no more than 1 hour to arrive early. Soon after I parked, several Police SUVs with flashing lights stormed the parking lot banging on drivers' doors telling us to move with no delay. Apparently, Amazon found it easier to call the Police than send their Security to notify drivers to move away from their huge empty parking lot and inform us there's a nearby demolition site/former mall that offers bobtail/truck parking, Police informed us about it. On the other hand, the other Amazon in that area in Euclid (Cleveland) OH does allow bobtails to park in their parking lot outside the gates. You never know who is going to knock on your tractor door.650cat425 Thanks this.
