    You need to move it very little, and watch it. Height should move, maybe very slowly, but should move. That’s ok. It doesn’t really ever need to constantly adjust with every bump in the road. Not meant to. Just meant to maintain consistent height. If it’s got a dead zone, that’s unresponsive, it won’t hold consistent height.

    If you're raising the rod it is not moving on up it could be the pressure protection valve like the previous poster stated. Usually those are on the side of an air tank. If you trace your supply air line back to the air tank it's right there where it goes into the air tank. They're tiny little things but when they go bad they dont let the PSI flow as it should.
