but Man and Scania, have a well developed technique on engines

For example the new(2007) dc9 or dc13 Scania engine has:

-dual-cooled EGR
-xpi (common rail-developed jointly with Cummins) 34800psi

achieve Euro 5 norm and eev (Enhanced Environmentally friendly Vehicles) -reduced share of HC from 0.46 to 0.25

-compression ratio of 17:1 (9.3L 5 cylinder and 17.3:1 12.75L 6cylinder)
-maximum ratio of torque and power market (1400LBft 360hp, 1550 400hp, 1700 440,1850 480hp ) and almost all power from 1300 rpm

man has it all and +PM filter


soon should be on the market come Scania V8 with everything I have listed above
