Your experiences with Diesel Exhaust Fluid

Every time I get a whiff, I'm instantly back in high school, loading turkeys onto the truck from the barn........... Gawd, that was a nasty job.

 

Thats why i go to ta so i dont have to make love to the fuel nozzle

 

My favorite is when the....nozzle is broken, or on its way to bring broken, so you have to take it out wipe it a few times with a rag, and then stick it back in and hope it wants to work this go around.....


.......if not you’re stuck pumping 0.04 increments at a time until she’s full.

 

I went through the survey, and I'm wondering what exactly you hope to learn from the questions.

What is the point in a university that assigns this kind of stuff?

 

Smells like dairy cow piss to me.

 

It was dirt cheap when it first came out, now it is absurd for what it is.

 

Just think what your grandpappy would say if you told him in the 70’s he’d be putting diesel exhaust fluid in a truck now. Kinda like blinker fluid. Lol

 

I was thinking about that the other day while pumping it... " i cant belive im putting exhaust fluid in my truck" next thing u know we will have to replace the muffler bearings

 

"DEF is an aqueous urea solution made with 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water".

You poor souls probably use the DEF that gets the urea from a cow farm.
I only use DEF that gets its urea from high mountain goats.
