Wintertime will suck. Otherwise ... it's a nice drive not as busy of a road as you would think. Great to get off the interstate and live the 2 lane life.
truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
Didn't Johnny Cash walk that road? "When along came a semi with a high canvas load",,,

That road was painful to drive in the Oregon 55 mph days.... It's a very rural two lane road. Sure some winter issues, but it's lower elevation than '93 from Wells to Twin Falls and not as bad. I'd rather have winter than camper season.
If you're tightly wound, two lanes like that might give you blood pressure issues. I really prefer two laning in a lot of cases.rachi, Coffey and truckdriver31 Thank this. -
I deal with lake effect snow where I’m at now. Not familiar with the PNW. Boise is inland so they cant get dumped on that much right?
truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
Nah, nothing compared to Lake Effect snow. The issue out on 95 would be ground blizzards, because even though there's only 1" of actual snow, it's cold and dry, so the wind blows it for 40 miles before piling it all up in a ditch somewhere....
