Will there be far less drivers due to Coronavirus? Think of the many schooling/training challenges

This virus isn’t going away. We are going to have to beat it via a vaccine or something or just let it do it’s thing. They’re finding out at best we get a couple months immunity, so that means this #### thing is just gonna keep going round and round.nredfor88 Thanks this. -

You know if there was one area of population that you should see staggering amounts of Covid infections, that would be truck drivers.
They are a Populace that meets at one crowded gathering point or another daily all over the United States.
And most of them their Hygiene is severely questionable.
You would think most of the showers or toilets would be unusable because there is a dead trucker in or on it.
So why aren’t we hearing or seeing cases that would verify the inevitable?
I’m down here in Florida and other than my ex’s coworker dying early on, which looking back at it the death was probably mislabeled because of the suddenness she died, I don’t or any of my friends know someone that has been hospitalized.
Me and all my friends and colleagues know very few people who have been diagnosed with it.
When I came down to Florida in November I went to see my longtime buddy at his shop.
Asked to go have a beer and catchup. He said he had just gotten over a 2week respiratory illness and was going to take it easy
Than in January I got a respiratory illness. Knocked me down for 6 weeks.
But I have been sicker. This one just dragged out.
My buddy I just spoke about , his teenage kid was tested at work and came up positive for the antibodies.
My buddy said yea , his son was sick for a week right after he was sick but it didn’t affect his son much.
So my buddy suggests his other 2 boys that live with him to go down and get tested .
They drive down and get in line and give all their info.
An hour into the line no test and one of the boys needs to use the John. So they drive off and agree it’s too long of a wait so forget going back to get tested.
A week later they both get forms in the mail saying they tested Positive for Covid.
This is no BS or a political statement.
Just the Facts directly from my best buddies mouth ..Last edited: Jul 20, 2020

I have never heard it so quiet here in Naples. No Wailing cop cars or constant fire trucks and ambulances .
Usually during season it’s nonstop.
Buts it’s not season and people are supposedly sick and dying everywhere here.
I drive by the hospital emergency entrance daily on my way to the beach and it is Quiet. -
