Ray Charles could see that thing gleaming from a mile off..
That's pretty slick Tug. But you'd spend 50% of your time keeping it polished..
So when you picking it up..?Nostalgic, cke, jamespmack and 5 others Thank this. -
Gotta let the woman get their way every now & then.
I was all liquored up one night & ate an 14oz strip steak right out of the fridge with just a sprinkle of garlic salt on it. It was good I think..cke, clausland, jamespmack and 5 others Thank this. -
cke, Tug Toy, singlescrewshaker and 2 others Thank this.

one would assume you would be loading more single piece over weight loads like presses or mill rolls or similar. I would want my blocking on a wooden deck or metal machinery skids not on aluminum deck. -
cke, Tug Toy, singlescrewshaker and 6 others Thank this.

And it's all Tug's fault for getting us thinking about new trailers. -
You bring up a very good point, an all aluminum deck has nothing to nail to. And metal on metal... well I guess if ya carried plenty of skid mats that problem could be solved, but still nothing to nail blocking to.
If we were looking at being that heavy all the time, and loading smaller single peices like that, then I think a double drop with an all wood floor would be required.
Of course I'm not buying anything right now. It's a long ways off, but when we do, I want something as versatile as possible, and a triaxle drop seems to be the way to go.
