Not to long ago, had a fairly new Freightliner blow a steer tire in front of me. When it happened, the right side of the truck Just disintegrated. Bumper, fender, hood, all had bits and pieces falling off. Quite the mess.

7896114F-F2B8-4CE3-A177-CE64559B9F74.jpeg I’m wore out. Working 10 minutes at a time, followed by a 15 minute break, for a solid 6 hrs. I’m considering becoming a Truck driver. I hear it’s easy money. Got a call from my Mortgage Company, offering to refi my Mortgage. 2.75%, for 15 yrs. They were really pushing it. One scenario after another. Something tells Me rates are headed lower, usually the case when they’re hungry like that.

So you guys get invaded by the RV's? We get a few down here, usually pulling a trailer or 5th wheel. Not much camping available on the sandbar, and what there is, to me is expensive. I know of two campgrounds...One down around Hatteras, which is a KOA if I recall, and the other is run by the feds. Pea island just south of it is a National Wildlife Refuge. Good spot if your into turtles, birds, and such. Good fishing to.

Good spot to go also if you don't want to be near anyone. Great spot to social distance, fish, drink your weight in beer and take a nap with no worries of being disturbed. Edit to add: I lied, you'll be disturbed by the park rangers if you do one of two things....screw with the turtles or any of the birds, or drive on any part of the beach closed off to vehicles. They get pissed an hand out nice fines, so don't get drunk an try to play with a turtle. ;)

Had some dolphins around a week or two ago. They go as far north as Maine? I know sharks are known to go up around Cape Cod. .

THat's all you've gotten done on your home time? Moved one bag of fertilizer? ;)

I herd trucking is an ok career. I hear there is some guy on this forum who might be able to give you some advice on who to sign with. His name is Dave. His OM is awesome . Won't let you sit, the OM is the cat's meow. Can't go wrong with the OM on your side. Oh, and she likes mustard.

    ;)

Sirscrapntruckalot - Clearly swimming isn't good exercise. Look at whales. They swim all day...yet, their still fat. - Jim Gaffigan (From memory, if I forgot part of it.)

I am going to guess they changed the front bumper. When they did so they didnt have the cognitive to understand one has to tighten the bolts. Probably only finger tight.
Or the other possibility is that a mega fleet mechanic went to lunch and some wet mechanic was asked to complete the job with a "surely you cant screw this one up"............ Surely they did

Or, said driver knocked it off, put it back on, told his co-driver, " See it's fine. No one will ever know. "
