Scary side of trucking

I’ll take the pain in my body , and I've had many extreme and enduring pains over my 56 years, than the pain in my Heart losing someone I Love .

All you can do is Clamber on. There is no pill to erase the memories and pain of Loss.

There is nothing you can do for that pain but have Hope and Faith that tomorrow will be better than today. .

Even in the worst of times in my life all I had to do is look around .

It wouldn’t take me long to recognize that I still had it good and I could get up tomorrow and Fight another day.

There are so many you see everyday just suffering through life, yet they fight no matter their disabilities.

I had the privilege of going to school with the mentally disabled and those who were deaf in my younger years .

Later on in life I had the blessing of having a friend we helped through out life that was severely mentally challenged.

You couldn’t have convinced him he had It bad even though I was 10 years younger with a successful business ,son and wife ,and he rode a bicycle collecting cans out of trash cans and picking up cushions off our rental chairs at the beach .

He was happy because he could ride his bike everyday and go to the beach .

In his eyes that was a lot better life than his older brother had confined to a wheelchair being much more mentally and physically challenged.

Life is all about Perspective.

Appreciation for what God has blessed you with no matter how you feel about your draw of the short straw is an important trait to get by in this life.

 

So if you're feeling pain, why is God real for another 18 months?

 

I'll probably catch hell for this but again...I'm not an overly religious fella.

Or he's both. Can't have one without the other.

Balance. Buddhists got that part of it right. You have to have a balance.

Everyone all happy and #### would freak me out. it would be weird. Like porcelain doll weird.

But hey, it's your life. Blame who you want. Since you and the big G are on the outs I offer you a new omnipotent to look to..

He just made pain to make sure you recognize when you are feeling good.

That's why he created Eve. He created Adam, but Adam didn't do anything. He just sat under a tree, eating fruit all day. So he created Eve, another person Adam couldn't resist, but he had to work hard to please her.

So Adam finally got up off of his lazy ### and build a home, a swimming pool, started a farm, and everything, and hence civilization started.

That's because a bunch of guys with no women will literally do nothing. We will just lay around all day, eating fruit, getting rained on all night, we don't care.

 

Haha.

Dude, you don't even want to get me started.

Guys are animals. Plain and simple. Whether guys will admit it or not, that's just the truth.

One time I was in this apartment with a bunch of frat bros years ago, these dudes were studying the hard stuff (STEM subjects) and my friend brought his girl over and she noticed before anyone else the dishes in the sink had moldy food on them. She was disgusted and ordered the bros to clean it.

So they took all the dishes outside and sprayed them down with a garden hose. That was their idea of cleaning dishes. This was all the while with a throw up stain on the wall that had been there for a month.

So yeah man, even the best and brightest guys among us, are just animals. Women keep guys in check because otherwise we are just disgusting critters.

And if you think about it, even if you are not disgusting, it's because of habits your mother instilled into you. Not your father. Your father played no part in any of that. And if he did, it's only because he's wanting affection from the mother.

That's the hard truth.
