I heard that some people, mostly casino club card members, were getting offered to stay 2 or 3 nights for free, you know to jump start things! Unable to verify how true it may or may not be, but I saw it somewhere.

Anyway, a casino operation needs to be a full capacity to make the bucks. Also heard that the famous Las Vegas buffets are no more?

The Wynn is offering rooms to Red Card members for $85/night. When I was last in Vegas this past December, the cheapest rooms were $600/night. I stayed at the Hard Rock (mistake) which I discovered is right next to the main entrance to the underground water drainage tunnels that most of the homeless live in.

I stopped at a casino coming back up at a Texas and Oklahoma on a Saturday night about a week ago. Normally this casino probably would’ve had 1000 to 1500 people in it on a Saturday night. There was about eight of us wandering around in there. Nobody at the bar, two people in the restaurant and that was it. All those casinos are going to go under. But hey, so are most restaurants and so are most bars before this is said and done.

If it was on I-35, it was the WinStar Casino (world's largest) run by the Chickasaw Tribe. No way they are going out of business. They have Business Interruption Insurance and are in the process of suing the insurance companies to force them to pay. Casino Gambles on Coronavirus Business Interruption Lawsuit Against Lloyd's, AIG, XL

If it was Highway 75, it was the Choctaw Casino.

There is a huge pissing match going on between the Governor of Oklahoma and the tribes over renegotiating the size of the cut Oklahoma takes from their operations. The bigger tribes hung together telling the governor to go get pissed so the governor then negotiated with some smaller tribes independently, offering them casinos outside of their current area and legal sports betting if they accepted the higher cut. They did. The bigger tribes then sued, taking it all the way to the Oklahoma Supreme Court. The court ruled in the big tribe's favor putting things back to square one.
