All at the exclusive price of 72 %, minus all that 46 %of line haul, id do it myself and make 95% of line, with negotiations of price

You're expenses will vary depending on how and where you run.

I paid $482 in tolls all last year.

One of my newer guys paid $560 in one month. Now he's getting the hang of it.

If you have a $70K truck and a good record, you're looking at $370 month insurance and another $80 for BT.

    E log $28 month. Workman's comp $32

    Plates $1800 year permits $200

May The OM be with you.

    MTG_Tanker_Yanker and 062 Thank this.

Another poster that knows everything about LANDSTAR.

to the op, I didn’t look hard at your numbers but first thing you need to do is apply and see if LS will accept you, they can turn you down for any reason and they won’t tell you why.

That part of the process is already done and application updated every 3 months. I'm wanting to make sure my math and assumptions on costs is somewhat correct before I pull the trigger on a truck. I'm not in any hurry to do this the wrong way.

The formatting got a bit jumbled, it's factored in @ 1800/ mo. I don't expect it to be that high, but I'm a "plan for the worst, hope for the best" kinda guy.

I would say your estimated costs look to be on the high side, which is always a good thing. Much better to over estimate costs than under estimate.
