you might want to look into getting on with a different company. Ive been with 4 different companies and all of em' got me home when I needed within a day or two. One company even paid drivers $50 a day for every day they didn't get home on time! I'd move on if I were you.

I don’t have the temperament to be disrespected like that. If it happened once I would drive to the terminal and have a conversation about respect. If it happened again I’d drive back there and shove the truck up their ###

What you allow is what will continue. You’ve let them do it for 27 months and they know that you will put up with it.

    Question In Reverse:
Has a driver ever been out for so long that he or she was told to bring the truck back to the terminal and take mandatory time off, regardless whether or not the driver wanted to take the time off?

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

No, you won't get unemployment because
    Your not home enough.
Don't drive a truck if you need to be home
    All the time.
No profession works more hours than we do.

Now you know why we have 125 percent turnover.
That's what it takes for each of us to find the right fit.
90 percent of drivers never find it,so they keep moving
From 1 job to another or finally quit.

The other 10 percent got lucky, they keep they're
Mouth shut and only share it with close friends.
They don't want all the rift raft to know about it.

Find another job that gets you home.

Our drivers are home every 5-6 days or 9-10 days and then 2-4 off. Have had to force a few to take time off for vacation when i knew they were getting burned out. Little different trying to convince someone to take off vs trying to convince some to run. LOL

Not quite told I had to go home, but I had been out for 6 weeks, didn't have any hometime scheduled, didn't really even care about going home and I was given a 3,000+ mile load to "get me home to Florida".

I put in for time off after that load delivered figuring I might as well take it if it's offered on a silver platter.
