Hippo get a 13 and call it a day. Or at least something you know how to drive.
-
I wouldn't willingly opt for a super-10, but that's just me. The few trucks I've driven with those trannies were perfectly reliable, but the tranny just couldn't keep up with my gear dancing. I had to learn to slow down, but didn't really care for it.
I'd take a 13, given my 'druthers, but a straight 10 works just fine. -
It don't take that long to learn to drive different trannies. I drove a straight ten for years, then was asked to drive an 18.. I was skert at first.. After an hour, it was just another truck.. No bigggy. -

I think you should back up a few pages and reread some earlier posts.
I'm sure Rob would love to have a "13 speed" trans, heck while we're dreaming lets just dream for a 18 speed. But he has to look at all options right now and the most limiting factor right now is MONEY.
Oh yeah, and like you can drive Dude !!!!!!!!! -

"Dude", you really have no clue what you are talking about. This isn't your moms' Volvo we are talking about here. You are not just going to hop into a tractor and take off down the road. Not sure who you think you are kidding, but you might want to withhold any advice, especially advice about subjects you know NOTHING about.
Get done with school, GO TO COLLEGE, then, if you still want to drive a truck, get a CDL and get a job.The Challenger, Gears and PharmPhailPartsReplacer Thank this.
