The Reno loads that come out on Thursday are always due on Monday unless Daniel Caigle or Chris Nycum calls and asks for a different day. Im on a Reno load too, left Thursday morning.

I drove by that yard last week on my way to my sons place near Roanoak. Is it just a bad yard or only crappy loads come out of it?

When you get around there, especially on the weekends, you get put in what we lovingly refer to as “the Gatorade loop”. Heavy, heavy loads out of Wytheville to Indy, Mountain Top, Wintersville, and then back to Wytheville. And you’re stuck because that’s the main freight that comes out of there.

    MidWest_MacDaddy and Bumper Thank this.

Yeah, I used to get into a Gatorade loop out of Phoenix taking it back to Riverside CA. But that DC was really good at not overloading the trailer. I don't think I ever had to go back for a reload. But yes, they were always over 79000.

Still in the moving process from Reno to Bristol TN. Might have to look for a job next month or maybe September.....

Easy miles, easy money, no time pressure, and two places to buy Indian food if you're going to Indianapolis. What's not to like?

Heavy loads. Mountains. Volvos that don’t pull worth a dang. Nothing easy about it IMO. Always a PITA.

I think he was referring to playing Civilization 6 for 6 hours and getting 4 hours of detention pay... :D

Nah, I like the Gatorade runs. Drop and hook both ends, "get there when it gets there" delivery times, pretty scenery, convenient places to stop, and you can knock off early on the way back if you want and nobody cares because Gatorade Wytheville isn't sitting around waiting for the one specific empty trailer you're hauling back from wherever.

Great way to spend a weekend working in my estimation.

Where are the decent spots to spend the night between Vegas and Reno? Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it all the way to Reno today, and Truckers Path is indicating that the road ahead is pretty sparsely populated.
