It's literally in the name. A wage you can live on. Living, for most humans, involves being able to provide food clothing and shelter for yourself.
If you aren't making enough to pay for those things, then you aren't making a living wage. A dollar figure can't really be put on it as those essentials cost different amounts in different parts of the country/world.GoneButNotForgotten Thanks this. -

Well I hate to be the bad guy but if you go back to school and get your CDL again you will be driving alone, OTR, or with someone you don't even know. That's just the way the business works, and an O/O trying to hire you their Insurance company would say no because you don't have 2 years of recent OTR experience.
So, where do you go from here. Have you tried Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Lousiana? There are local jobs in those areas that haul local containers to the port and back. There are Reefer jobs in Florida that might be able to get you in doing Regional. Carolinas has carolina cargo that has helped many people on this forum get jobs.Redtwin Thanks this. -

Back to you, Gdog, I have the police report. It says right on it: Classification: Traffic. It isn't going to keep me from getting a driving job. -
There's been a lot of good advice thrown your way and yet you dont want this or you want that. You gotta start somewhere. You can't be the CEO the first day. You may have to take something you don't want for a while just to get something better.born&raisedintheusa, Aamcotrans, GoneButNotForgotten and 1 other person Thank this.
