Well Jess, looks like you and ladies got it all handled so don't have much to say about Mr. 1 post. Figure he won't be back either.

I do have to admit tho, that I could have almost been mistaken for him earlier, with some of the msg's I sent to my company today. Was trying to get fuel at an out of network place, THAT THE DARN COMPUTER SENT ME TO, and after an hr and 6 msgs with no response, well lets just say the 7th wasn't nice or clean but it did get me a phone call and the card turned on. Woo hoo.

this is the trainer who dropped the student off. 2nd of all i gonna skip 1st of all and go straight to 3rd of all. here we go. the student was a great driver, but didnt wanna drive his shift, always kept on coming up with excuses. but that wasnt a problem. the student got mad the last couple days on the truck because he used all of his money to buy cigarettes, and didnt have anything to eat after i explained to him he need to be more wiser with his money, so when he ran out of smokes he didnt wanna drive no more. also he wanted 2 fight me the last day on the truck because he didnt wanna get up only to drive 187mi to our delv. not to mention if i was such a bad trainer then why did the student give kurt wein a call to tell him how good i was and how he wanted to take off 2 weeks with me while i was on home time because he didnt want another trainer. and if yall wanna know why i dropped him off in conley its because i just had a newborn child. also the talk abt watching my in dash tv, the student wanted to watch tv and drive, and when his shift was up he didnt wana sleep wanted to watch movies. its all good though i've been lied on b4.

    ground pounda,
If the trainee doesn't want to work or drive his shift he is no good to you. Whats the sayn if the wheels arent turning you are not making money. With the fighting episode thats justd messed up. When I was with trainer way way back I wanted to learn and drive as much as possible. Is the trainee still employd with central?

Thank you for your side of the story!

If your student didn't drive his shift, why on earth didn't you call the training department and let them know?

All I know is that I drove 300 miles today towing boats around, if somebody was paying me now I'd still be driving. I wonder if the trainee thought he only had to drive when he wanted. I'm not as disillusioned, I know what work is...I worked for my family

Sorry for not updating sooner. We have to do everything thing on our phones because the net is sooo slow at building #2. We are doing great. Mama is doing much better than I could've hoped on her backing. We got to keep up with Greyfox allweek long as he was on the range and street. He passed everything and starts orientation mon. We got to meet the infamous 6pak today. It was nice to be able to put a name with a face and he seems cool as the trees. Didn't see JJ though if he made it in to WVC. We will be moving to the Ramada tommorow so we should be able to keep everyone updated better ....

Thank you for giving your side of the story Pounda.
As I said in my post, I have heard students tell all kinds of storys. Though I do have to say that I don't think the TV should have ever hit the dash.
I have also heard many students have this idea of intitlement. They think since they are making you money driving your truck you should help them out. With food money ect. They don't get that you are not making them near as much money as they think if you are training them well.
Heck they only should be driving a few weeks while you are not up front with them. So in general the truck is not making that many more miles the first few weeks. Plus if they are a new driver the drivetrain of the truck is taking a beating with lower quality shifting, that needs to be fixed eventually.

Also, if he cannot drive when he needs to drive to get the load delivered on time then he should not be in a truck. If his 10 are up and he can drive he needs to get in the seat and go. No other option.
So I am glad you posted actual info on this. It does get a much better responce that way.

Just so everyone knows 28 survived the 2 week training class here at wvc. We lost 3 to the road test and we think by the end of our 3 day orientation we may lose a few more. Congrads to the 8 that graduated from the ca school and good luck to the person that has to take there test again next Monday were cheering for you. :biggrin_25520:
