I would just like to hold one of those things in my hand...old timer I used to know used them surveying for BC hydro back in the 60s. He was gonna give me one but he passed away before he could. I wasn't gonna ask his next of kin for it that's fer sure.

 

Why is the most difficult thing for me an oil change in my truck. Last week our company mechanic said he couldn't do it because he had a truck in the shop getting a turbo replaced. They have a huge 4 bay shop. Today, main mechanic is out, ### bag mechanic assistant says "cant do it" because the same truck is still sitting there waiting for a turbo. Wtf.

I pull into TA in New Braunfels (NE San Antonio) and they say "yea no sweat, pull into bay 6" its now 1am and they're just doing it. Because the girl who left earlier never filled out an actual work order on my truck.

 

Drive wrecker then. I've gotten fat just driving. Pull cable, chain up and down a muddy ditch. Then unload that frozen chicken truck that laid over, one box at a time. Ever walk on the side walls of a reefer with 40lbs of frozen bird?

Two of the worst physically was 44k of lug nuts. Scoop shovel lug nuts into 5gal buckets. Walk with two of those to the back and dump into a front end loaded.

Then a van trailer full of big block chevy heads ruff cast. Idk remember how many. Full trailer. But carried 2 at a time to the back to restack and palletize.

Hey if I ever come on here and say there's a 100' coil on my deck, that I secured by spraying water underneath it and letting it freeze, the next person to see me is required to shoot on sight.

 

Maybe stab you with a dull object?

It's only those slippery high center of gravity shingles on pesky pallets that need to be frozen on the trailer. Those are dangerous.

 

Rookies......when i unload, I always have to use BOTH hands.

 

I’ll have to raise the pirate flag if I use that, preferably when I’m going down a steep hill loaded heavy rofl
