Yeah, that part will be a welcome change. I've been doing self dispatch for the last 5 years. I like the fact that I controlled where I went but on this regional run I don't really care where I go. Except Texas, I don't like Texas. Lol. But I sure seen to go there a lot for someone that doesn't like the place and I know I'll be going there even more now. Lol

 

You’ll have to do the physical capacity test at hospital nothing strenuous. I hear they have a nice hotel for you. I live in Omaha so I just went home.

 

not sure how the region you will be on works or freight volumes. But I usually have 3 to 4 loads stacked on me most times.

 

Hmm... They didn't say anything about the physical capacity test but I'm not worried about it.

I'll probably stay in the truck. I have to pay for the hotel and I've got everything in my truck that the hotel room has except a toilet and shower. I can use the ones at the yard.

 

Well, taking this load of socks to Sioux Honey... there is too much time on it so they are letting me drop it at SHA and grab a load from there to York, PA

I think I remember Honey loads being discussed in this thread. Are they one of our bigger customers? Night Dispatch says we can take our 10 on site there so that should work out well.

 

considering we have trailers with their logo plastered all over them, I'd say they're a pretty big customer for us, yeah. Lol

 

Looks like I'm scheduled for orientation Wednesday. I was gonna do Monday but I'm just not gonna be ready to go. I'm doing my drug test now so I'll have that out of the way. Went out to check on my truck yesterday and found I have a flat. Hmm... Not sure how that happened. It was fine a month ago. I've got a few other small things to do to it this weekend but nothing major. I'm sure ready to get to running though.

 

We dont like you Yankee's down here in the Great state of Texas anyways, Win Win for everybody if you stay north of the red river.

 

The only thing good to come out of Texas is I-35 northbound. Lol
