Trick to getting a decent wash at BB is to go when they aren’t busy. When they’re super busy it’s more of a quickie.

If you’re DIY type, you can do it at any fuel island with the window squeegee...I’ve seen it done this way many times.

Not true......on I-40 there are 2 Arkansas that I like.......exit 84 Russellville, AR and exit 260 Earle, AR. In Tennessee, go to Pride Truck Wash exit 369 in Knoxville. Get a loyalty card, the 12th wash is free i believe. I think Blue Beacon does a very good job....the idea is to go at night....they are less in a hurry. If you ran I-75 I'd say stop at the Choo Choo Truck in Ringgold, GA. You'll be there a while because they take time to wash a truck. If it's a line, you'll be there at minimum 2 hrs.

With pump sprayers being compact and waterless washes becoming better, you could always try that. Obviously cheaper than any truck wash. I have a spray bottle I’ll keep with me when love-bug season hits.

To be noted, those guys with show-worthy trucks running around also use metal polish and spray wax after each wash. A lot easier to keep up with it after every wash and throughout the week.

The difference is hand wash verses spray wash. The Streaking Beacon works only if you put a hard wax coat on the wash as it will remove the grime from the road. Even a poor mans truck wash will clean a truch with Rain X.

Rain X works by puting a layer of silicone between the factory finish and the dirt. I would recommend only on a new truck. Older trucks don't seem to benefit as much...and it wears off faster.

Keep that New KW looking new using RainX truck applications.

And be sure to tip your friends at the wash bay.

P.S, Hand wash takes at least an Hour...but better in the places you dont often get washed at Ole Blue...
