Oh, and how do you think he would know that the 5th wheel was out of adjustments and the bushings shot without hooking a LOADED TRAILER to it? Apparently you have the ability to detect these things. You can actually tell bushings in a 5th wheel are shot just by looking at it, as you imply that Bill is supposed to do? Then you must be one hell of a mechanic. Why in the world would you want to sign a lease with Prime? You stated quite clearly in my thread that you want to do just that. If you are such a good mechanic that you can see through a 5th wheel then man why waste your time driving a truck. Go work at Freightliner so they can explain the liability issue better to you. im new here, but I hear you guys over and over not to take the lease option not only from prime, but all the companies and people continue to do it. Would it make more sense to finance from a used truck dealer. I don't believe prime with let you lease on or will they let you from a third party?

 

Excuse me, excuse me. If you cant see bushings and tell their dry rotted, and not in good shape. You dont even need to be driving. Easy to see why your old man got run off. Likewise on the ignore list. Tell him to get some experience, and do something productive.
