How to sell your truck and trailer

Man that's awesome! I'm hoping to do something like that in the future. Way less headache than driving a truck. I'm trying to go O/O to fund my brokerage and hopefully get my gf to learn it. Well, that's the goal anyway lol

 

What kind of truck you got? engine, miles?

 

I’m selling one of my trucks as well and what’s worked for me is to part it at a busy truck shop with a for sale sign and throw a bit of $ to the shop owner when it sells.

I also tell all my trucking friends and mechanics. Every truck I’ve ever sold only took a few days and sold via word of mouth. Now with corona though I’m skeptical it will be quick and I decided to polish it, snap some pics and hope for the best on Craigslist and marketplace.

 

Consign it to Taylor & Martin if they have any auctions coming up near you. Those guys get top dollar and are one of the most reputable auctioneers i've worked with.

I’ve had great luck selling my used trucks to farmers. They’re the ones with money these days (even though they swear they don’t make any money)just sold my spare truck to one they drove 8 hours for it. Usually if someone wants to take the truck and get it inspected or ask a million questions etc they will waste your time.I’ve found that out the hard way. But these are trucks I’ve personally run and maintained with proof to back up work done so that probably helps a lot too.
