Hello Folks,
Need you help on this wiring issue I am facing on my 2003 FL112.
I bought new LED lights as the old ones were all bad.
Trying to wire it back together, but I can get it to work properly.
The issue I see is how to wire the turn signals and brake lights so they can work properly.
I found out brake lights turn signal comes out on the same wire. This is messing me up big time.
Picture below:
How would I wire these brake and turn signals?
- Two green wires together is driving lights. No problem here.
- White one with black tape is reverse and reverse alarm, no issues here.
- Green one - Right turn signal and brake lights.
- Yellow one - Left turn signal
- The other white one is for the left reverse light- no issues here.
- The truck also has a white wire not shown here. This white wire has no output regardless, I think it might be ground.

You just need a stop, tail, turn 3 prong led light, white(not the reverse white) to ground, joined green to marker light, then light green or yellow to last wire for stop hazard and turn signal if it’s all on the same wire
MIg25 Thanks this. -
I thought ground is already applied as the lights are bolted to the chassis. If I join the white ground wouldn't it short it out?

on A stop, tail, turn such as grote or trux brand there is a ground wire,on my truck it has grote lights and the white wire is to ground, red to signal and black to tail lights I believe. The brake light will be brighter than the taillights when you put power to it

Easy...Need last 6 of vin to look up the factory wiring.

Here is your schematic:
I would do some continuity tests to verify which wire you are after. CIRC 23A for stops, the 38B and 39B for your turns.MIg25 Thanks this.
